Starting a carrier as a designer from straight to executing a UI design has it’s own disadvantage — and the advantage at the same time.

Hello, hi! Today, I need to be honest with you guys. This past couple of days, every time I open up a Facebook app and scrolling mindlessly through the news feed in my smoke break. I’ve always seen a new UI design post on design groups that I joined. And to be honest, I liked it. It’s refreshing to see so many untapped talents around Indonesia. So yeah, I like giving feedback on their design which they actually asked (they asked for feedback after they just post a screen and that’s it, no context. Just “ Can you give me some feedback?”). But then again, I tried to give constructive feedback from many points of view, which usually the user POV and sometimes from the design standpoint. I don’t know if they understand my point or not, cause sometimes they design the screen only for the sake of being a “pretty screen”.

And that is why in this article I’m gonna list down why has it’s own disadvantage, but it’s also has it’s own advantage to start your career as a designer.
